Although drainboard sinks are not the most commonly purchased on the market today, we highly recommend them to our clients. Drainboard sinks are sinks that have an attached apron, usually on one side, but sometimes on more than one side, with the apron overlapping as a portion of the counter. The apron, in this case, the drainboard, is grooved and angled downward, so that water can drain directly into the sink.
